Bijzonder mooie eend om in te rijden Het uiterlijk van de 2cv was belangrijk. Voor de oorlog werd al aangevangen met het fraaie ontwerp, in 1948 stond het resultaat op de Parijse Autosalon. De auto werd met enorm veel enthousiasme en een berg aan bewondering voor de schoonheid ontvangen. Een Nederlandse verslaggever noemde haar, naast de ander sierlijke Citroën-modellen, een "Lekkere Eend".
