They were the main composers of the band. Lead singer was Jerney Kaagman who later also came to prominence as head of the jury of TV program 'Idols'. Earth & Fire had a string of hits in the early 1970's starting with "Seasons", "Ruby Is the One", and "Wild and Exciting", Later came "Invitation", "Storm and Thunder" and "Memories" between 1970 and 1973. 'Thanks For The Love' reached #8 in the Dutch Top 40 in November 1975 They visited the Toppop studios many times. Unfortunately Gerard Koerts deceased on 20 February 2019 in Pergignan, France.
