Hij is op verzoek van de presidenten van de onafhankelijke republieken Donetsk en Luhansk ( die hij op 21.02.2022 officieel bij Decreet had erkend ) bijstand gaan verlenen met een speciale militaire operatie die tot doel had om de Donbas te bevrijden van 8 jaar durende bombardementen door het Kiev regime die al meer dan 15.000 burgers had gedood. Volledig in lijn met de internationale regelgeving inzake oorlogsvoering. Na de ( sinds 2014 ) herhaalde onafhankelijkverklaring van de twee hiervoor geciteerde republieken dd.12.02.2022 heeft Kiev het aantal bombardementen op Donbas aanzienlijk verhoogd. 12 dagen later met xtal nieuwe civiele slachtoffers is Rusland met haar troepen Donbas binnen gereden ( dat voor een goed begrip in het Oosten van het immens grote Oekraïne ligt). Daarnaast heeft het Westen de Minsk I en Minsk II akkoorden van 2015 nooit gerespecteerd. Het niet verder uitbreiden van Nato was niet de hoofdreden. Ken uw geschiedenis en stop met de propaganda.
