Grizzly Giant tree, in front of which US cavalry soldiers posed in 1900, still stands today and is estimated to be around 3000 years old. Grizzly Giant is oldest tree in Mariposa Grove, which is Yosemite National Park's largest grove of giant sequoias, containing hundreds of mature trees.
